How ordering works

  • Free pickup

    Pick up at our yard at 89076 PTH 6, Woodlands. Yard hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Other times may be possible. Please call or text ahead, as we also run our farm and may not be in the yard.

  • Delivery

    $150 (GST included) for the first 60 km, then $3.25 per km (one way, driving distance). Minimum 2 cords, any mix of species. Your exact charge is calculated at checkout.

    Delivery rates are based on current fuel prices and may be adjusted if fuel costs change.

  • Please order ahead

    We are a small operation without full-time staff, and we schedule deliveries around our other work. Please place delivery orders at least two weeks in advance. If you need wood sooner, contact us and we will do our best to fit you in. Same-day delivery is usually not possible.

Choose your wood

  • Oak

    Dense hardwood with a long, steady burn and high heat (26–30 million BTU/cord). Best for home heating and overnight fires.

  • Pine

    Lights easily and burns hot and fast (15–20 million BTU/cord), with a pleasant scent. Great for campfires and kindling.

    Lights easily and burns clean with moderate heat (13–17 million BTU/cord). Good for milder weather and getting a fire going.

Questions

How do I pay?

Online orders are paid by card at checkout. For phone and in-person orders, we accept e-transfer, cash, or credit card (2.9% fee on cards). Payment is due before or at delivery.

How soon can I get a delivery?

Please order at least two weeks ahead. We often deliver sooner, but we cannot guarantee short-notice or same-day delivery. Weekend delivery is sometimes possible. Please ask in advance.

How far do you deliver?

Across the Interlake and beyond. Delivery is $150 (GST included) for the first 60 km, then $3.25 per km. All deliveries need a minimum of 2 cords. Our truck is a semi, so please let us know if access to your property may be tight.

Can I buy smaller amounts?

Yes, for yard pickup. Bundles are $15 each, and we can load totes or trucks by the cubic foot. See our pricing page for details.

How should I store firewood?

Keep it off the ground, stacked with airflow, and cover the top only. Burn older wood first.
